Manchester Academy provides its young people with a robust Employability curriculum that develops their ability to prepare for and make well informed decisions about their employment and educational options.

This is achieved through a prosperous partnership with many businesses, educational settings and outside agencies, that all help to ensure our young people are equipped to take ownership and participate fully in their chosen futures.

Manchester Academy measures and assesses the impact of the careers programme on pupils in the following ways:

  • Student feedback
  • Stakeholder (e.g. employers/colleges) feedback
  • Parent feedback
  • Post-16 progression data i.e. NEET information / Destination information
  • Compass+ tracker to monitor pupil participation
