Our Computing curriculum aims to give students the skills to embrace and utilise new technology in a socially responsible and safe way. We equip our students with the skills to successfully operate in the ever-changing digital workplace and help them to understand the career opportunities that could be open to them. We teach students how to utilise digital technology confidently and effectively, to support them in all areas of their lives. Our students will be digitally literate and competent end-users of technology, developing creativity, resilience, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. These transferrable skills can be applied to any system or software. Students are taught a strong message of e-safety through exposing them to scenarios of potential dangers and teaching them a range of strategies to successfully combat them.
