The Drama curriculum aims to engage, inspire and challenge students to create and perform. As students progress, they should be able to think critically about what they create and the process of how they achieved this. The spiral curriculum allows them to learn and revisit the skills required to access scripted performance and the devising process.
Students are encouraged to express themselves through a shared collaborative goal to achieve a performance. They should be able to utilise the skills taught to problem solve in small groups and be mindful about how to use their bodies and voices in creative ways. They will be exposed to a variety of SMSC topics and scripts from playwrights across the ages and around the globe.
