The purpose of the Geography curriculum is to inspire curiosity in students, and a fascination about the world and its people. Geography provides students with knowledge of diverse places, people, resources, and natural and human environments, with a deep understanding of the Earth’s physical and human processes. Students will develop contextual knowledge of the location of globally significant places and their interrelationships with human activity.
Our Geography curriculum prepares students for each stage of their academic journey, as well as the wider world, by ensuring that young people can think like geographers – using their geographical knowledge to make sense of the world around them.
