4 Schools Maths Visit to the University of Manchester

On Wednesday, 30th January, Mr Montrose (Teacher of Maths) and Ms McCullough took a group of Year 8 students to a 4 schools Maths event at the University of Manchester.

They attended a lecture which gave them an Introduction to Higher Level Maths topics and then they worked in groups on Maths topics along with students from William Hulme's Grammar School, Withington Girls' School and Manchester Grammar School.

The students really enjoyed the challenge of the A-level Maths and they were great ambassadors for the school.
