In partnership with local design company Material Source, the aim of these trips is to welcome students into interior design industry, promoting diversity and inclusivity within the sector.
The day’s activities guided our students through a typical design process. By using real-world examples of interior design, our students were able to better understand and focus on the day’s task of renovating the Library at Manchester Academy.
The workshop’s success was reflected in the engagement and active participation of our students. Vice Principal, Mr Horrigan said: “The group had a brilliant day, their energy after the trip feels motivated and upbeat. It’s clear that today has been a positive experience. I want to thank Material Source for delivering the day’s outstanding presentations that clearly made a lasting impression!”
