Manchester Academy Prefects Join Forces with Middlewich High School
Manchester Academy is feeling inspired after the recent Aspire Event! The atmosphere was buzzing as student leaders from each school met for the first time.
The day encouraged students to broaden their perspectives! Students participated in activities designed to identify their unique strengths and encourage conversation about opportunities after high school.
Building Friendships and School Communities
The day began with an introduction from the principal. Conversations flowed as students bonded over shared interests, from their favourite films and music to discussing their ambitions for college and future careers!
Academy prefects showcased their leadership skills when taking students from Middlewich High on a guided tour around the building. A perfect opportunity to bond over their favourite subjects and extracurricular activities.
School Principal, Mr Eldon said: “It was heartening to see students connect so easily. They’re all working towards their futures, so it’s great to share advice and ideas. We’re proud to build connections and strengthen our school community today.”
The event featured a series of questions and activities designed to get students thinking about the future. They worked in groups to tackle tasks and get to know each other better.
Preparing for Bright Futures
Well done to the Academy’s brilliant prefects who took pride in their school and showed how we make Manchester magic!
At the end of the day, new friends had been made, ideas were shared, and a delicious lunch devoured. Students felt encouraged to reflect on their strengths and consider the many magic opportunities are ahead.
Collaboration is key! The Academy prefects are now looking forward to visiting Middlewich High School next year for another aspirational day.
