Manchester Academy Celebrates Anti-Bullying Week the MA Way

Students Choose Respect this Anti-Bullying Week and Beyond

We’re proud to join schools across the UK and take part in Anti-Bullying Week 2024. This year’s theme is Choose Respect. We encourage students to build a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

The MA Way

All students at Manchester Academy are expected to follow The MA Way. This is a set of core values and standards that create a respectful and supportive environment where everyone can thrive.

The MA Way asks students to act and speak with respect and kindness and encourages a ‘hands-off’ approach. These standards ensure everyone is happy and able to make Manchester magic each school day.

We Choose Respect

The school got involved in a range of respect themed lessons and activities designed to encourage confidence and teamwork. We welcomed a guest speaker who hosted an assembly about mental health and bullying.

By following The MA Way, Manchester Academy is dedicated to maintaining a positive environment where every student can learn with confidence. With the support of students, staff, and parents, we’re building a community that stands united against bullying.
