A huge thanks to our Class of 2023 students and dedicated teachers – who have helped to achieve our best ever results in the Department of Education’s national school league tables.
The highlights at a glance include:
Progress 8 - +0.16 is the Academy’s best ever P8 score and students at the school performed better than their peers nationally.
The average attainment 8 grade of students was 4.45. This is a score based on how well pupils have performed in up to 8 qualifications, which include English, Maths, three EBacc qualifications including Sciences, Computer Science, History, Geography and Languages, and three other additional approved qualifications.
Our achievements in the school league tables add to the list of achievements we have made this year – including a raft of national awards:
- We have been shortlisted for The Communications Award at the North West Educate Awards.
- Mr Eldon won the Secondary School Leadership Award in the Education Business Awards, following on from being a finalist for Headteacher of the Year in the Manchester Evening News Schools Awards.
- Our Family Liaison Officer won for his Outstanding Contribution to Pastoral Care at the national NAPCE Awards and our Autism Resource Centre was highly commended for the Award for Excellence in SEND Education at the prestigious national Pearson Teaching Awards.
