An emotional day for all as our Year 11 students Make Manchester Magic this GCSE Results Day!

A Day to Remember

It’s been a privilege to watch all our students grow into the brilliant Year 11s we know today. We hope this positivity continues and you progress to do great things. Know that we will always be there to cheer you on!

Daniel wants to study Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at Loreto College with the dream of progressing into dentistry. Daniel said: “I’ve made a lot of new friends at Manchester Academy. Both they and my teachers pushed and encouraged me to do much better in school.”

Muhammad said: “My teachers have given me a lot of support. I’m excited for the future!”

A few words from the principal:

“All of us at Manchester Academy send many congratulations to our class of 2024. We’re thrilled that this cohort, who lost so much of their early years in secondary education to the pandemic, have bounced back with such energy and success.

“We’re especially proud of those students who joined us during their secondary years – for many, the academy is the first school they have attended in the UK. To not only settle in a new country but achieve so well is a powerful and inspiring example of making Manchester magic!

“Thank you to our fantastic teams of staff and ever-supportive families for all they have done to help our young people achieved these results. Exam success is a team effort and I hope our entire school community takes some time to celebrate today.”

A New Beginning

We wish the best of luck to all our leaving students and hope they find happiness and fulfilment in the path they’ve chosen. As we shift focus to the new academic year, we want to remind all our new Year 11 students that this is your opportunity to show us your best! How will you make Manchester magic?
