Apart from the girls attending the Inspiring Women event, the whole school decamped to Stretford for the day – and what a day it was! Every student in every class, every House and every Year tried to outdo each other in competing, cheering and encouraging. Particularly outstanding performances were given by:
- Malik Annafi, who showed real class in winning his 100m sprint and came from 30 metres behind in the 4 x 100m relay to finish second;
- Derrick Osaghae, who surprised the audience by winning his 200m race and coming second in the 100m;

Emma Beresford-Yates for winning her 800m race in style and putting a good effort into the 400m race;
- Naomi Adigun, who finished a close 4th in the boys’ 200m – which is a real achievement when competing against boys;
- Jason Karimi for winning both the 800m and 400m – and while fasting, too!
The winning Houses were:
- Year 7 North and East (Tie)
- Year 8 West
- Year 9 North
- Year 10 South
