Manchester Academy is a good school with some particular strengths, for example in its good and improving leadership and management and its commitment to the inclusion of all learners. This is demonstrated in the excellent quality of care and support for students, for example the relatively large proportion whose circumstances may make them more vulnerable.

 

You will have seen on the news this week that parts of the country have already been hit with significant falls of snow which have affected traffic and services. Last Year we had to close the school for the first time in its history due to bad weather.

 

Manchester Academy provides students with an outstanding education. This is because the outstanding leadership of the academy knows precisely what needs to be done to ensure students get the best possible start in life. The staff work incredibly hard to meet the very diverse needs of the students. This is rewarded in the exceptional improvements students make by the end of Year 11.
