Academy students find the answer for new jewellery right under their feet 

After a successful first year of collaboration with the Whitworth Art Gallery, a new group of entrepreneurs have taken up the baton of ‘Fresh Made Trade’ and have begun their challenge to create a product for the shop at the Gallery and Art Museum.

13 budding entrepreneurs from Manchester Academy have been taking part in a project with the Whitworth Art Gallery, collaborating to design, make and sell products to coincide with the new exhibition, We Face Forward.

As part of the Whitworth Art Gallery project and exhibition, ‘We Face Forward' students have been working with artists and manufacturers to create, make and sell goods in the Whitworth shop.

A group of 13 students have successfully applied to take part in a brand new project with the Whitworth Art Gallery this year. The Gallery challenged our students to work in partnership with them to create some products to sell in their shops.
