The FMSP Year 10 Team Mathematics Competition

On Wednesday, 13th March, 8 students from 10UT/MA1 represented Manchester Academy at this year’s Year 10 Team Maths Competition that took place at the University of Manchester.

It was organised by the Further Mathematics Support Programme (FMSP) and supported by the Mathematics in Education and Industry (MEI).

The aim of the competition was to provide an enriching and enjoyable activity for Year 10 students who worked together to solve challenging and interesting mathematical problems.

The students were well behaved and were a credit to the academy. They enjoyed working together as a team on different challenging activities.
