Operated by Sir Robert McAlpine, the site will comprise of a Health and Education campus for Manchester Metropolitan University, an energy centre, car park and a student village.
Students were kitted out in personal protective equipment before being taken around on a tour of the site. They were told how all the elements of construction are brought together, bit by bit to create award winning buildings.
The students then took part in a ‘speed dating’ session questioning professionals about their roles. They spoke to Quantity Surveyors, Design Managers, Project Planners and Architects.
