Year 11 Athletics Team Triumph

On Friday, 19th October, a group of Manchester Academy students took part in an exciting athletics event where our Year 11 Athletics Team were crowned the Manchester Schools Indoor Athletics Champions 2012/13.

Amongst the highlights included:

  • Lemiko Thomas winning the 400m
  • Soloman Badda winning the Long Jump
  • 4 x 200m relay team of Jordan Malcolm, Roger Deage, Dan-Silver Adigan and Lemiko Thomas coming 1st

We were very impressed with all 8 students by their attitude, behaviour and commitment, all of which was commented on by the officials.
