Year 7 Transition Students Visit Gurdwara

Published on 21 October 2014

On Monday 20th October, pupils in Miss O’Connell and Miss Russul Saib's classes visited the Guru Nanak Dev Ji Gurdwara on Monton Street in Manchester.

This was to complement work in lessons on Sikhism as part of the project which the students are studying this term, ‘Me, Myself and I’.

All the students had a great time learning about Sikhism and what it is like inside the Gurdwara. Pupils also had the opportunity to try some Langar.

Well done Year 7!
