Year 8 Visit Manchester Museum

Published on 24 October 2014

Year 8 Foundation pupils went on a trip to Manchester Museum on Tuesday 22nd October as part of the project they are studying this term, ‘My World'.

They thoroughly enjoyed learning about the different artefacts including the animals in the Living Worlds gallery.

This term, pupils have been learning about the structure of the earth and they had the opportunity to look at this in more detail in the Meteorites gallery. They also learned about the plate boundaries and earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis around the world.

Well done Year 8!
