Year 8 & Year 9 Girls' Football Tournament

The tournament brought together 12 teams from around Manchester who are partners of the Manchester United Foundation.

Today. the Year 8 & 9 Girls' football team took part in a fiercely contested tournament held at Astley Sports College. The tournament brought together 12 teams from around Manchester who are partners of the Manchester United Foundation. 

The MA teach performed exceptionally well on the day narrowly missing out on the finals after W3, D1, L1. Despite the result all students thoroughly enjoyed themselves and represented the school fantastically! Year 9 striker, Shanyia Weekes was awarded the Golden Boot award, after finishing as tournament top goal scorer with 9 goals in 5 games.
