We're Proud to Support the Mental Health Foundation this Mental Health Awareness Week
Our bodies and minds are connected. One of the most important things we can do to better our mental health is regular movement. Exercise can help reduce feelings of stress, make us feel better about our bodies, and improve sleep.
The Important Stuff
Exam season has started! We recognise this stressful period for both our staff and students. This Mental Health Awareness Week, we want to help find moments for movement in everyone’s daily routine.
Going On This Week
Each day of the week, our brilliant Mental Health Lead, Mrs Essafi has organised after school activities for our staff members to enjoy:
- · Walk in Plattfields Park
- · Badminton class
- · Cooking class
- · Staff football match
Mrs Essafi said: “The week has focused on providing a space for everyone to de-stress and re-energize themselves after their learning day. I hope our staff and students feel happy and supported this exam season.”
